Editing Interior Photos

Can we all agree that editing indoor photos can be such a pain? I used to use apps like VSCO and Snapseed; while they are great, they just don't do a great job removing the yellow tones from a photo taken inside. Remember, that when you edit, you also have to fix the harsh tones that come with artificial lighting!

Luckily, I found out about Dreamy Presets while scrolling around Facebook! My friend also suggested I download and subscribe to Lightroom CC (which is only $9.99/month). The tools ranging from fixing exposure to the tone curve are super accessible. Before downloading Lightroom CC, I had no prior experience playing around on Photoshop, but to a newbie trying her hand with photo editing, Lightroom CC is super helpful!

The preset collections on Dreamy Presets's website are very easy to install on Lightroom CC. If you subscribe, Dreamy Presets also offers discounts from time to time and also a 3-email tutorial detailing how to make the most of the most commonly used photo editing app! So far, I have gotten all if not most of the collections on their website.

My favorite? I recommend buying a preset collection that has a Yellow Tone remover. See above for comparison between the "Before" and "After" [when I apply the preset] photos. The yellow tone remover is seriously a lifesaver!

It is so easy to customize the settings of a preset you apply to any photo. Just tweak the exposure, highlights, temperature, etc. in Lightroom by toggling!

Using presets has cut down my editing time down to 10-15 minutes. A few presets from Dreamy Presets does the trick, and will help with keeping your feed aesthetic uniform! Now, you can achieve the looks of your favorite bloggers in less time! A quick trick is to copy the edit settings from the initial photo and paste them in photos with similar lighting. The presets work best with RAW camera images, but it still works perfectly well with iPhone photos!

Since I opt for a bright, airy aesthetic, my personal favorites are the Milan Collection (which adds a nice pastel touch to your images) and the New York Minimalist Collection! Scroll through my feed to see how I have tweaked them to fit the flow of my feed :)

I am a big fan of Smashbox Cosmetics! My eyeliner is from Trish McEvoy and it is a midnight blue shade :)
